• Design and art direct magazine covers, feature packages, front-of-book pages, special sections, and branded content across print and digital platforms.

• Lead editorial meetings with editors, photo directors, and creative leadership to develop visual concepts and creative strategies 
  that strengthen storytelling, audience engagement, and brand identity. 

• Design promotional assets and editorial layouts for Cosmo Reads, creating engaging, reader-focused visuals. 

• Research, recruit, and art direct freelance illustrators, guiding projects from concept through final artwork, balancing creative vision, deadlines, and budgets. 

• Play a key role in three major publication redesigns by developing visual systems, templates, color palettes, and brand guidelines that elevated 
  the magazine while maintaining brand consistency. 

• Concept and art direct beauty, lifestyle, and food photo shoots from creative development through production, collaborating closely with photographers, stylists, editors, and production teams. 

• Manage and mentor two junior designers by providing creative direction, feedback, project management, and support on editorial projects.

• Collaborate with retouchers to oversee image editing, color correction, and final quality control for publication-ready artwork. 

• Develop and organize production documentation, design archives, and internal files to streamline print production workflows and processes.
